That is exactly what the US, Saudi and Qatar are supporting.
Dear Mr Obama,
Last time I wrote to you I expressed great sentiment which seemed to resonate with many Egyptians, but with the current affairs, we as a Nation have moved beyond sentiment, fear and anger.
It is a well known fact that any mother would lift a truck to save her child. The percentage of women participating in the recent demonstrations are a sign that the women of Egypt intend on lifiting submarines to free their children.
I would like to share with you some facts and pose some questions which perhaps your eloquent Arabists have failed to portray to you.
In 2011 Saudi Arabia exported 40,000 Wahabis to Egypt, and in April 2011 the army allowed ex convicts from Afghanistan, Chechnya and other countries to re-enter. Between November 2012 till the present day, approximately 6000 Hamas militia have been allowed to roam the streets of Cairo terrorising us and 50,000 were granted nationality.
I do understand that the United States supported and trained Osama Bin Laden, and that plan back fired causing lots of terrorism and casualties, not only in the United States but all over the world. Excuse me if I give myself the liberty to ask ‘Is this the right path to take?’
How would the American public feel when they know that you are supporting a constitution which not only kills human rights, free expression, abolishes child rights but criminalises a nation?
Would you accept a constitution which legalises the marriage of nine year old girls? Would you call that legal prostitution, legal slavery or child abuse? I cannot comprehend that you as a person before becoming a head of State would accept to support and legalise pedophiles willing to sexually abuse young children. I cannot believe that people in 2012 can watch such criminal acts and advertise them in the name of religion. This doesn’t require education, it requires some common sense.
One of the articles defines a woman’s household chores more important than her work, leaving open doors to the addition of sub-divided laws to suppress and oppress women, not realizing that 40% of the Egypt’s income is from the female working force. A woman under such a constitution not only will lose her dignity but will seize to exist.
Other articles give the state the right to judge independent behaviour. Articles are written in a way that allows space for the addition of unacceptable laws within the constitution, creating more space for physical abuse to both men and women, for unexplained arrests excluding rights to contact a lawyer, to have the president above the law, to hire anyone from any country including Hamas to work within the judicial system, to allow six-year-olds to work, to force people to work in any job the president deems necessary without pay.
Need I add more articles to bring it to the attention of the world that we are being subjected to a great injustice? There are so many articles regarding child labour, against freedom of speech, education thus closing up the entire country from the outside world and so much more. Isn’t Amnesty working against child labour in China and Asia? Why are you legalising child labour in Egypt?
It seems like the American administration is unable to know how to spend it’s tax payers money. Shouldn’t the US concentrate on it’s own internal affairs such as economy, security and education?
- Are you aware that the Canadian health care system you are trying to adopt is actually a failed system? Canadians are more likely to die before seeing a specialist because the system is so bureaucratic?
- Are you aware that your ‘Get Active’ campaigns, ‘Health 2000 and 2010′ plus ‘Move’ are all failures because Americans are the most obese in the world, and the only way you can truly help them is to create a law to reduce quantities and fat in fast food chains? I assume that kind of law would limit freedom of choice.
- Are you aware that China is the leading economy and that the United States’ economy will seize to exist by 2030?
- Do you know that more people die in US school shoot outs than terrorist attacks on Israel? Do you understand that you have very mentally ill children who require your care and attention for a better America?
- Do you realise that most Americans abroad fear for their lives and often pose as other Nationalities in the fear they could get attacked? – Did you know that Egyptians along with other Arab/Middle Easterners get slandered and discriminated against at your borders by ignorant officers taught by the Bush that all Arabs and Muslims as terrorists?
- Do you realise that the United States may need to declare Spanish as it’s national language, as there are some parts of the United States where even hotel employees do not utter a word of English?
Do you Mr President understand that your support to the MB’s is a holocaust to the Egyptian identity and people? Do you realise that the Muslim brotherhood do not represent the majority of Egyptians even if they can pay bus loads of poor people to show the world they have supporters?
Did you know that most of the Muslim brotherhood aren’t real Egyptians? They have not be raised the Egyptian way, they don’t speak our dialect, nor dress like us, so why are you creating a Muslim brotherhood settlement in Egypt? Isn’t Palestine enough of a heartache and blood shed?
If the coming constitution goes through with your blessings which former President Carter refused to observe, is your country willing to pay the price for the coming 100 years as Israel has been doing to you, because remember you will have a few million flee to the United States and their votes will shape your future.

That is exactly what the US, Saudi and Qatar are supporting, with a slight difference that our Mormons are violent and will double cross you at the next cross road and will destabilize your beloved Israel which to date I cannot understand why the Americans are still paying foranother country’s mistake.
During the past two years the True Egyptian people have protested down the streets of Cairo in peace. During that time, protestors never held a knife, a gun or any other type of weapon which would’ve been the norm in other countries. The youth never tried to retaliate into violence, instead they did their utmost to protect their historical sites. We the people need to be heard in a peaceful way. We are the true Egyptians and the United States needs to embrace and support us to attain peace, even if Israel is your ultimate goal. As there seems to be unlimited funds may I make a suggestion to the president of the United States, Congress, Europe and the world.
The Peaceful people of Egypt would appreciate steering the funds from the MB and source the money into projects of utmost importance in order to attain Middle East peace.
- Please fund our educational system so the Egyptian people can eradicate illiteracy and can become independent reputable respectable citizens, which will not only bring dignity but will eradicate unlawful child labour.
- Please fund sources which will revive our arts and crafts. Find an outlet for youth, the graffitti needs to be channelled, handicrafts need to be rescucitated, our history needs to be shared.
- Fund community centers as the average Egyptian can’t go out to public parks
- Fund organisations which help young entrepreneurs
- Fund scholarships, mini united nations projects and community based organisations
- Fund, promote and acknowledge women’s initiatives
- Fund a campaign where every Egyptian born is entitled to a birth certificate
- Fund urban gardening so the average Egyptian can at least include one vegetable in their daily meal
- Fund growth not a dictatorship. Make Egypt a tourist haven where people would want to come either to the city to create memories of a 7000 year civilization.
Egypt and it’s true peaceful inhabitants have great potential, great will power and great skills, they need a leader to guide them through growth and not a dictator to eradicate them, knowing that the WashingtonPost calls him ‘Our Man in Cairo’
We the Egyptian people have always practiced moderate religion, and know that the shariat law isn’t what the Muslim brotherhood represent. Islam is a moderate religion which acknowledges and respects every religion. Islam is about intention, humility and kindness. Islam is about love, compassion and truth. Islam is the religion which acknowledges equality and gives women rights to have an identity, inheritance and have the right to divorce. Shariat Islam is nothing close to what the brotherhood try to dictate, for it is a great insult and of great ignorance to support people in the name of religion.
Mr Obama, I look forward to hearing from you this time, because unless you answer some of the above questions, you cannot truly say that the US is a world leading country, because I do believe from what the world has witnessed the past two years from the peaceful demonstrations, that Egypt IS the leading ‘Peaceful Nation’ and deserves more respect and better treatment. Be the person you promised to be and offer the people of Egypt prosperity, peace, growth and a chance to live a life full of choices and dignity as you would with your own nation.
